Veterinary Radiology MIRC Site Terms of Service

By creating an account, you agree to the following terms of service:

1. You have access to a web-based tool for authoring radiologic teaching files. The site will be maintained and upgraded as updates become available, however the site is for use on an “as-is” basis. You are responsible for obtaining equipment and internet access for using the service.

2. VRMIRC has the right to suspend or terminate your account for uses that are not within the realm of veterinary radiologic teaching files. VMIRC can also remove files that are inaccurate or objectionable in any way.

3. You are responsible for obtaining permission to use any text or images posted on the site.

4. VRMIRC is not responsible for errors or omissions in content posted on the site. You are responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of the information posted. Cases are for educational purposes only, and consultation with a veterinarian is recommended for diagnosis of an animal’s illness.

5. Patient information should be omitted or protected within the case file. There should be no visible patient identifiers on the images posted for public use.

6. Files with public permissions can be used for teaching purposes on Veterinary Radiology (www.veterinaryradiology.net) and other forms of media distribution with attribution to the author.

7. Teaching files will be backed up on a regular basis, but you are advised to keep your own copy of all teaching material by using the .zip function available on the first page of each case. VRMIRC assumes no responsibility for loss of teaching material due to computer failure.
