History

A 6 year old FS mixed breed dog who presented for intermittent vomiting, decreased appetite and hypercalcemia.

Findings

There is a rounded, ill-defined soft tissue mass present in the craniodorsal abdomen, caudal to the stomach. A mass effect is present causing compression of the stomach and caudal displacement of the right kidney. The spleen is mildly enlarged. No abnormalities of the gastrointestinal tract are observed and the serosal detail is normal.

Abdominal carcinoma (likely neuroendocrine) in the area of the pancreas with multiple liver metastasis
