History

4 month old male Cocker Spaniel cross. 4 week history of generalized wobbliness when walking.

2-3 week history of head bobbing when attempting to eat. Owners do not think that gait abnormality has progressed since first noticed.

Findings

Representative T1 and T2 MRI images are presented. The cerebellum is small with a resulting large collection of CSF in the vicinity. There are no other abnormalities of signal intensity.

DDx

Congenital cerebellar disease - abiotrophy or hypoplasia
